I find things like FL and Ableton do specific things better (especially when it comes to loop based stuff), but Cubase is just really great to work in generally. I also find it runs pretty well, especially as a Windows user who was initially using Pro Tools.It a bit silly to criticise the cosmetic DLCs, I think, whether an old or a new player.
