RZIM released an independent report by the Atlanta law firm Miller Martin detailing Zacharias transgressions, including sexual misconduct and rape allegations from more than a dozen massage therapists and the discovery of about 200 photos of young women on his phones, some of them nude selfies. The board of RZIM, which is led by Zacharias daughter, said it was “shocked and grieved by Ravi actions,” and apologized to his victims: “Words cannot come close to expressing the sorrow that we feel for what you have been through or the gratitude we feel for the bravery with which you have responded.” RZIM denied any sexual misconduct by its founder last fall, and Zacharias had sued one accuser for extortion before he died.
On the demand side, we examine the influence of gender, career plans, year of study, and career status on student motivation to undergo teacher training. We find that about half of EU institutions offering PhD programs also provide some form of teacher training; this closely follows American trends. We also uncover that while research orientation has a significant positive effect on the willingness of universities to provide training in pedagogy, quality assurance does not.

The money in question was for “the construction of the Jean Tyson Child Development Center,” and that’s also the purpose the foundation’s check indicated with its numeric code. (The UA official line is that Sharp and Choate are the ones wholly responsible for the advancement budget screw up.) The prosecutor’s report concludes the code switch likely was a mistake, in part because the deficits advancement was racking up were so large that $1.3 million was insufficient to hide them.
After applying a constant load to the bar in a pull compression configuration, tests were conducted by increasing the ambient temperature in an electrical oven up to an appropriate level in order to avoid post curing effects in the adhesive. Two types of resin were tested, as well as two different shapes for the internal hole surface (cylindrical and threaded), in order to evaluate whether different geometrical properties of the hole could affect the performances of the connection, when subjected to elevated temperatures. Experimental results show, that an increase in the temperature of the bonding layer causes a significant decrease in the bond shear strength of the adhesive with respect to the cold state (approximately halves when approaching the Heat Deflection).
