He turned on to Deepdale Gardens, which is a dead end, before he attempted a handbrake turn and turned 180 degrees.”The officer could now clearly see the male in the driver seat and a female front seat passenger.”The vehicle travelled back along the road and mounted a pavement.”The court heard that Lascelles continued his pursuit along a number of residential roads before coming to a stop, ditching his passengers and attempting to flee on foot.But he was tracked by the police helicopter, who directed nearby officers, and he was finally located and arrested.Mr Jordan said: “The defendant at the time had no insurance.
