Calling all artists! The Madison Arts Commission and The Bubbler at Madison Public Library are launching a new, 11 month artist residency program based out of a dedicated art studio at Thurber Park. Artist(s) will carry out their residency in the Thurber Park art studio, and their work will culminate in a public art commission created during their time there. The artist or artist pair will also engage with the local community through free, open studio days, community workshops, neighborhood partnerships, and larger community events hosted out of their space.
