Twitter’s ‘retweet prompts’ is coming to everyoneTwitter announced that its ‘retweet prompts,’ which are designed to encourage a user to read an article before they retweet it, will be available to everyone globally, soon. The microblogging platform prompts a user, when they retweet an article that they have not opened on Twitter. “People open articles 40% more often after seeing the prompt,” Twitter wrote about the feature, it started testing in June.
Ultimately, the family landed in the west end of Toronto, where Bob attended Etobicoke Collegiate Institute. It was there that he met his wife to be, Marilyn Daly, and the two were married just weeks after their university graduation, his from Queen’s and hers from University of Toronto.Bob graduated with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering in 1960. Many people have communicated with me and all alders their feelings of urgency about adopting an ordinance requiring facemasks to counter the community spread of COVID 19. Public Health staff have raised concerns about equity in a June 10 memo: “While cloth face coverings can prevent the wearer from spreading the virus, there are valid reasons that may prevent an individual from wearing a cloth face covering and we do not recommend requiring or ordering individuals to wear cloth face coverings outside of certain employment spaces. Some health conditions may keep individuals from being able to wear a cloth face covering.
I have been working on a street tree ordinance that will be introduced at the February 23 Council meeting. It is inspired by the recommendation of the Urban Forestry Task Force to increase the setbacks in order to allow more space for trees and canopy trees in particular to thrive. The final draft should be in legistar soon.
