After all, as the last year attests, we can literally stay in our homes, work, get supplies and entertain ourselves without any relationship with others. Since we are no longer interdependent, who needs people? Now, being selfish works. Why be nice to others or generous if it doesn’t get us anywhere? Since we can do it all ourselves, we don’t really need anyone, right?.
Vision Zero Cities 2020 Conference As many of you are aware, the City of Madison joined with other progressive cities across the country this summer in committing to eliminating traffic deaths on our city streets. The Transportation Policy Planning Board is tasked with overseeing the development of our action plan to accomplish that goal. City staff has been hard at work in beginning to develop that plan and this week I had the opportunity to attend a (virtual) national conference hosted by Transportation Alternatives.
Google’s Pixel series reportedly saw its best shipments figures in 2019 despite the lacklustre Pixel 4 launch response, research firm IDC executive claims. Associate VP for EMEA Devices at IDC, Francisco Jeronimo says that 2019 was the best performing year for the Pixel series, and the shipment numbers outpaced OnePlus as well.
