The Board of Estimates last nite voted to recommend to the Common Council that Beitler Real Estate Services of Chicago develop the massive Judge Doyle Square (JDS). The JDS project will be located on a two block area in downtown Madison encompassing Block 88, behind the Madison Municipal Building and across South Pickney Street in Block 105, the current site of the City’s Government East parking garage. Vermilion Enterprises, LLC also of Chicago submitted a strong proposal to develop the JDS project.
