This new reading shows up as Junction Temperature under Global Wattman in AMD Radeon Settings. The Junction temperature is themaximum temperature across the entire GPU die based on temperature measuring circuitry.The image above shows the network of 64 temperature sensors (remote diodes) distributed across the chip that are used to come up with the Junction Temperature on Radeon VII graphics cards.
