Sensitivity studies were conducted to understand the effects of geometric factors and mechanical properties on the fabric deformation and permeability. In this thesis, two pieces of equipment in particular were introduced for measuring the fabric dynamic permeability and fabric out of plane deformation. “We are aware of the price involved in using something like this,” says Ganssle. “But it can be subsidised through strategic partnerships involving the big companies, the government, and the farmers.
