Heterosexual women (n = 35) rated these samples, and a set of unused T shirts, using a series of hedonic scales. The pecking order theory is contingent upon firms’ internal flexibility debt capacity. Finally, supporting the notion that financial flexibility is the most important consideration in financing decisions, debt capacity and external equity flexibility are shown to be the most important determinants of leverage..

The most satisfying aspect of that research for the past 7 years has been the participation of schools and neighborhoods in what is recognized nationally as a fairly unique approach to citizens participating in science or citizen science. What is unusual is that not only do citizens help collect data, but more uniquely and more importantly, they use the data to guide decision making in their neighborhoods. Our experience has been that neighborhoods help guide the development of research based on questions they have about the ecology of their neighborhood.
